SET Digital Solutions, formally SET Copiers, are one of the largest Olivetti dealers in the UK and we are able to supply the full range of Olivetti products at the lowest prices guaranteed, including both digital and analogue photocopiers, facsimile machines, printers and many multifunctional products throughout the entire Olivetti product range.
Located at SET Office Supplies Head Office in Penarth Road in Cardiff (pictured opposite), we have our own showroom where customers can browse the latest Olivetti models (shown right) and talk to our trained sales staff.

A Brief History
SET Office Ltd (Cardiff) was formed in May 1974 and was taken over by current Chairman Mr P.G. Amos in 1976. From a small corner shop in Wyndham Arcade, cardiff, selling calculators, typewriters and ribbons, SET moved to larger premises on St Mary Street, cardiff. Here SET continued to grow, selling to commercial business and increasing the range to include word-processors.
The growth of the company continued with the introduction of computers during the early 1980's and SET became one of the biggest retailers of business computers in South Wales, so much so that in 1986 SET Office Supplies supplied Lifeline Wales, a database of organ donors, with a complete network of Apricot computers. Princess Diana, the Princess of Wales, was invited to launch the computerised network. SET engineers programmed the computers so Lifeline Wales could be launched by the touch of a button as shown in the photograph opposite.
After moving from St Mary Street to Duke Street (where our retail shop is still situated), SET now had larger premised in a prime location opposite Cardiff Castle. Sales of business machines and computers remained the core of the business and at this stage the Chairman had no idea that he had just started the most successful office products company in Wales and the West. SET outgrew these premises again and moved to Penarth Road in Cardiff in 1990. These new premises gave SET 20,000 sq ft available for extra sales, administration and warehouse personnel. Today this remains the Head Office.

Since 1990 SET has grown to become the leading office supplier in Wales. Annual sales have reached in excess of £15 million. With further need for expansion the warehouse relocated to larger 26,000 sq ft premises in 2002 approximately 1 mile away from their Head Office, at Llandough Trading Estate, conveniently located for easy access to the major routes in Wales. There SET has the largest office supplies warehouse in Wales right on your doorstep. SET offer over 20,000 products that are available for a FREE next day delivery service.
SET has offices in Cardiff, Swansea, haverfordwest and Bristol, we currently employ over 140 people from the local workforce, all of whom are trained to maintain our high standards and offer the best possible service to our customer base. |
